Providing a fresh perspective on the measurement of personality, cdaq combines aspects of cognitive psychology and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). It draws specifically on NLP’s metaprogrammes which act as software in our brain, guiding what we pay attention to and how we make sense of our experiences. By understanding an individual’s metaprogammes we are able to ascertain some broad ways in which they view and respond to the world. The 11 metaprogrammes (dimensions) measured by cdaq are those that are most relevant to the world of work.
