Leadership DNA

Compass Group UK and Ireland has over 50,000 employees, supported by around 30,000 seasonal staff. The requirement was for a leadership competency framework which would support the values and strategic objectives of the business.

We carried out a series of meetings and focus groups to understand the challenges facing leaders across the UK business and worked with a Steering Group to develop a set of leadership competencies which could be used as a basis for recruitment, performance management and talent programmes.

The competencies were subsequently adopted for global use and branded as the Group’s ‘Leadership DNA’.
