The first step is always to agree the Vision for the change and ensure that it carries the full understanding and support of the top team. To be effective the Vision must paint an engaging a compelling picture of the future that can be used to build engagement and commitment across the organisation.
The next priority is to help our client to identify the changes required to skills, behaviours, team structures and organisational culture that are required to make the programme a success. It’s about aligning people strategies with business objectives and working to focus, align and simplify people processes to make sure that they develop a workforce that can deliver the future. It’s usually not about adding more, but streamlining key people processes such as performance management, remuneration and training and development to provide a single unavoidable message about what’s important.
In parallel with this we develop individuals and teams to deliver results. We support managers and leaders to develop their ability to lead change, bringing together a range of skills in areas such as emotional intelligence, change management and change communication. We also design and deliver large scale training programmes to develop critical skills and behaviours in key groups (e.g. customer handling skills).
